Passion for CPG Industry: Interest in the confectionary sector, with a desire to translated customer and shopper insights into action.  

Gain experience in manage the flow of goods and materials across the supply chain 

Gain an understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines. 

 

Assist in building people capability through effective employee training and communication for front-line hourly personnel. 

Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations. Assist in the monitoring and tracking of inventory levels to ensure accurate stock records. 

Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards. 

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver insights. 

Assisting in tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets. 

Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations. 

Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices.  

Report findings to other team members and management as required.  

Work on large projects and manage time and effort without the need for constant supervision. 

Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes.  

Learn various statistical modelling and developing reporting tools.  

Learn to manage production staff to attain production and quality goals  

Organize and facilitate work team meetings.  

 

Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a university  program in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related fields. 

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. 

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), data visualization, ability to learn new tech solutions. 

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner. Good storytelling skills and PowerPoint knowledge. 

Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team and cross-functionally.
