Supply Chain Coordinator
**Remote Supply Chain Coordinator - $60k +\- DOE** **Benefits:** Medical, dental, vision / 401k / 15 days PTO Leading designer and manufacturer of tailored in-line process spectrometers (UV-Vis, NIR, Raman and LIBS) across a wide spectrum of major industries (semiconductor manufacturing & thin-film analysis, chemistry & petrochemistry, pharma & biotech, food, feed & beverages, environmental & agriculture) and contract manufacturer for photonics devices in the life sciences, medical devices, and lab analyzer instrumentation space. **Job Description** + Create the company’s supply chain strategy + Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals + Develop accurate demand forecasts by analyzing the history, trend and macroeconomics + Regularly review purchasing orders and shipping quantities to the customer to maximize performance against internal and customer-driven goals. Achieve the monthly targets set for the supply chain related KPIs : on-time-delivery, inventory accuracy, demand forecast accuracy, inventory turnover + Create and implement risk mitigation plans to ensure a smooth supply through the whole supply chain, successfully develop a material supply strategy to avoid market related shortages + Develop/maintain statistical safety stock strategy + Manage customer specific systems and tools integration with the forecasting system + Proactively develop others within the planning organization through the sharing of best demonstrated processes and knowledge transference. Provide cross functional leadership across departments to solve for demand related issues caused by forecast error, demand constraints, unplanned promotional opportunities, etc. + Responsible for implementing methods, approaches, and solutions to maximize warehouse efficiency and use + Review and monitor the status of annual contracts + Analyze and adjust company’s supplier base strategy where necessary **Qualifications and Skills** + Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field.
