Your role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Customer Planner who will direct and coordinate activities concerning Customers and Suppliers, Finished Goods and Materials Planning, and other Supply Chain processes. The Customer Planner will evaluate data to support and fulfill customer expectations, plans and schedules raw materials (local and imported) for production, achieve the stocks effectiveness, service level, hit working capital and self-motivate for continuous improvement..
Main responsibilities:
Manages supply chain inventory (Finished goods, substrate and packaging) based on agreed level that support forecasted demand and meet working capital requirements. Manages substrate ageing with supplier Leads/manages set-up of required EDI files Computes and reviews inventory targets and ensure these are appropriate to the forecasted demand versus actual inventories in place to ensure shortages and excesses are minimized and communicated clearly. Participates actively to the deployment of the new planning tool for Optodev replenishment (Oracle). Manages VMI inventory includes replenishment computation and inventory KPI. Optimizes VMI calculation/replenishment to support utilization of production capacity where applicable or necessary. Publishes weekly KPI to measure performance. Leads the resolution of any cross-functional customer and supplier issues within Transitions manufacturing facilities or distribution center. Leads and participates in supply chain projects relating to customers and suppliers including new product introduction and product transfers. Works on projects, initiatives and continuous improvement.
Main requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any related course. At least 2 years’ experience in Planning in a complex and high volume retail or manufacturing environment. Advance in Excel and basic knowledge on other MS Office Applications, such as Word and Power Point. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Good understanding of MRP system like MFG Pro, SAP and Oracle. Good knowledge in planning and inventory management. Knowledge in demand planning. APICS CPIM qualification is an advantage. Knowledge of high volume manufacturing and Project Management experience is an advantage.
