**POSITION SUMMARY**
The **Director of Supply Chain** (EMEA & APAC) will oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations across the European and Asia Pacific region. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective supply chain processes, optimizing sourcing, planning (Demand and Supply), Logistics (warehousing and transportation), and all Operational functions and metrics while driving continuous improvement initiatives to support Customer delivery and the company’s strategic goals.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s customer first objectives and market demands. Collaborate with the Global Supply Chain team in driving efficiencies across the organization.
+ Operations Management: Oversee the End to End supply chain process, including procurement, demand planning, production, inventory management, and distribution of products to customers.
+ Demand Management: Manage Demand planning processes along with commercial and financial teams. Lead SIOP process.
+ Supply Management: Optimize production planning processes, including materials management and manufacturing relations. Manage inventory and capacity to fulfill customer needs and balance organizational tradeoffs.
+ Logistics Optimization: Ensure efficient logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks either with owned or 3PL resources. Maintain Logistics Operation withing budget.
+ Performance Improvement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement to include safety, quality, service, lead-time and cost.
+ Risk Management: Identify and monitor potential supply chain risks and develop along with relevant stakeholders, mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. Risks are not limited to external events, but can be internal too.
+ Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team across multiple locations.
+ Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in supply chain management, finance and procurement.
+ Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, improve service, reduce lead-time and reduce costs.
**The Ideal Candidate**
**Desired Background**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is preferred.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a multinational organization.
+ Fluent in English is required (both written and oral). Proficiency in Spanish, German or Mandarin Chinese a plus.
+ In-depth knowledge of regional regulations and laws pertaining to Supply Chain and Logistics
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
+ Proven track record leading in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
