Supply Chain Excellence Manager (CAR-T)
The EMEA/APAC Planning Delivery team is responsible for cell collection of starting material, logistics and planning of the patient journey as well as the E2E planning of all supporting materials to manufacturing CAR-T. This team is transitioning from a project/build phase into an increasingly operational mode. To deliver on team objectives, there’s a need to focus on streamlining, maturing and scaling all key processes. We’re hiring a Supply Chain Excellence manager to help drive and facilitate such initiatives together with the full team.
Key responsibilities include:
Project management: Oversee or support critical projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Eg. Lead time improvements, Launch readiness, System enhancements, establish performance management.Operational support: Drive continuous improvement across the regions to mature and scale our processesCommunication Facilitation: Serve as a liaison between the leadership team and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration. Eg. team meetings, townhalls, strategy off sites, GO cascadesThought leadership: Conduct research and provide analyses on various topics to aid in decision-making processes. · A Master’s degree is required.
· A minimum of six (6) years of relevant supply chain experience is required
· Supply chain planning and/or logistics experience is required
· Experience working across organizational boundaries is required
· Experience in a start-up/launch environment is preferred
· Affinity with running daily business is preferred
· Supply Chain certifications (APICS / IBF), Project management certifications and/or Green Belt Lean or Six Sigma Certifications are desirable
· Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in an ambiguous environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist
· Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels
· Proven business and financial acumen to influence E2E decisions key outcomes
· Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills
· Ability to get things done
· Flexible hours needed on ad hoc basis to accommodate working with different time zones
