As Supply Chain Excellence Partner for Roche Diagnostic Thailand, you collaborate across teams to ensure efficient planning, procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics of instrument movement, including planning, transportation, tracking, installation, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and effective instrument deployment. Additionally, the role involves fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services, in alignment with business objectives.  You are reporting directly to Supply Chain Excellence Lead.

Your Opportunity:

Inventory Movement & Replenishment

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand demand forecasting and align replenishment processes accordingly.

Recommend adjustments to replenishment tools and inventory targets based on changes in demand, and market trends.

Monitor and manage reserve instrument inventory to ensure its effective use within lead times, coordinating with stakeholders.

Track stock levels to ensure availability while minimizing inventory holding costs.

Maintain accurate records of instruments in transit, in storage, and delivered.

Optimize transportation modes (land, air, sea) to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.

Work with sales and service engineer teams to align on customer requirements and schedules. Oversee installation plan, delivery scheduling, and reverse logistics for repairs or returns.

Coordinate the transportation of instruments from warehouses or suppliers to customer locations.

Import Operations

Coordinate and manage international shipments, ensuring accurate and timely customs documentation and clearance.

Oversee all aspects of the import process, ensuring efficient and timely clearance of goods through customs.

Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities to resolve shipping issues and delays, ensuring compliance with all standards.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs laws, tariffs, trade agreements, and international trade laws.

Maintain accurate records of import transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.

Handle claims for goods damaged or lost during transit.

Ad hoc as assignment

Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in import operations or supply chain management.

A proficient language skill in Thai and good command of spoken and written English

Strong understanding of import regulations, international trade laws, customs procedures, compliance requirements, tariffs, duties, and trade agreements (specifically for the APAC region).

Documentation management, familiarity with key documents such as Bills of Lading, Letters of Credit, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, etc.

Problem-solving: ability to address delays, compliance issues, and cost overruns.

Software Proficiency: knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and logistics tools, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all teams, excellent communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines.
