Position: Supply Chain Executive
Overview:
Under the supervision of Supply Chain Officer, the Supply Chain Executive manages shipping and distribution requirements with the goal of delivering the stocks to the customers on time and at an optimum cost.
Responsibilities:
Budget Management & Forecasting
Coordinates closely with shipping providers on trucking in and out of the container. Checking the customer credit issue ensure orders are approved and delivered. Aligned with SCO forecast of shipment and monthly sales recognition. Aligned with SCO any expense related to Logistics according with budget.
Delivery Efficiency and Customer Service
Manages the prompt processing and on-time delivery of orders. Manages the required trucking and shipping requirements Maintains close coordination with third party service providers such as trucking and shipping lines company to ensure availability of trucks and container vans for the delivery of accounts/distributors. Manage the expected delivery date and configuration of container as pre advise with customer.
Dispatching & Delivery
Manages the planned deployment of deliveries. Placing the PO to factory immediate once order received. Ensures that the trucks and/or container vans employed matches the delivery volumes so as to optimise cost, while taking into consideration the delivery lead-time Ensures that all stocks loaded are covered with the supporting documents (i.e. Sales Invoice, HWB, Packing list, etc) Ensures that all in transit information are communicated to all concerned, whether delivery is via shipment or trucking Monitors that the trucks and/or container vans matches the delivery volumes to meet the delivery lead-time as required by the accounts Ensures that the 3rd Party contractor strictly follows the set delivery protocols in order to attain on-time delivery and higher service level to our customers. Manages the order requirements of the customers to ensure proper stock inventory and replenishment and to achieve the target customer service level. Ensures completeness and timeliness of stock deliveries to customer. Coordinates with Sales group and other concerned support groups regarding allocation of orders.
Inventory Management
Closely monitor and monthly reconcile the Inventory in system vs stocks in warehouse. Proper documentation of any Inventory adjustment with supporting documents, such as signed MRF from Management, DN etc. Safety stocks for YSS are replenish on monthly basis.
LOGISTICS RELATED COST MANAGEMENT
Ensure all logistics related expense are manage to process monthly and submit in timely basis, including Major suppliers (factory GRN file) and local suppliers. Ensure accurate charges billed by supplier.
Documentation and Other Functions
Ensures the timely transmittal of invoices Liase with forwarding agent to ensure smooth flow for clearance of goods and liase with Supply Chain for planning container deliveries and return.
Requirements:
College Graduate with background on Business Management or related to Supply Chain Management With at least three years relevant work experience
