Supply Chain Field Services Trainee (Co-Op Internship) - Houston, TX  

 

LOCATION: HOUSTON, TX

DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN FIELD SERVICES

 

Purpose

 

We are seeking a motivated young professional for a spring internship opportunity within our Service Deployment Team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background and analytical mindset who are eager to learn and support process optimization, documentation, and data analysis initiatives in a global corporate environment.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Support the Field Service Team in the creation, evaluation, and enhancement of training materials, collaborating with Tenaris University (TU). Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and leverage data science tools to enhance data visualization and reporting. Understand and improve existing reports to implement a global standard metric reporting structure. Conduct process analysis, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Assist in project coordination and follow-up, managing timelines across multiple countries. Maintain records related to project such as budget management & cost allocation. Investigate, review and evaluate work instructions and procedures for internal and external stakeholders. Follow and support execution of international equipment shipments and compliance with import/export regulations based on project needs.

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required (Accepting May 2025 graduates). Experience with Power BI dashboard development is a must. DAX preferred. Knowledge of data management, coding, databases, and dashboard development is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data interpretation and decision-making. Ability to adapt to multicultural environments and work with diverse communication styles. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
