Who we are…  We're your top choice for foam cups, classic red SOLO cups, and convenient take-out containers, ensuring you can enjoy your food and drinks anytime, anywhere!    What we offer…   + Excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401K and more!   + Ability to earn pay increases and advancement opportunities   + A supportive and inclusive work culture that prioritizes safety + Approved job-related training and tuition reimbursement     + Paid holidays and paid time off     + Relocation benefits What you’ll do…  + Manage the annual operating plan for plant expenses and capital expenditures, conducting variance analysis and reforecasting throughout the year. + Oversee product cost standard setting, daily product costing, and monthly cost center spending and inventory analysis. + Ensure compliance with GAAP through effective management of journal entries, account reconciliations, and timely financial reporting, including month-end, year-end, and ad-hoc reports. + Identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and customer service while developing KPIs and leveraging advanced data analytics to drive decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities. + Facilitate clear communication with internal departments and external partners, manage special projects, and collaborate with cross-functional Directors to ensure robust support from the manufacturing accounting staff. + Support the implementation of accounting policies, train plant accounting personnel, and enhance internal controls in cooperation with the Internal Audit department. + Maintain secure control of accounting documentation and review staffing levels to ensure optimal resource allocation for achieving organizational objectives. What you'll need... + Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance + Ten (10) years of experience in accounting or finance + Eight (8) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with plant managers and other business partners with an emphasis on cost analysis + Three (3) years of supervisory experience required with strong leadership and management skills + Demonstrated experience providing financial consultation to manufacturing operations + Experience in assisting with development of financial justifications for capital expenditures and performance improvement projects + Experience with query, reporting, and data analysis tools + Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables) If you’re ready to make an impact and drive financial excellence, apply now to become a part of our dedicated team at Dart Container!
