Overview Sprouts is seeking motivated and detail oriented Supply Chain Summer Interns to join our team for a hands on learning experience. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge, work on real projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain operations. The intern will support day-to-day activities, including data analysis, process improvement, and coordination across various departments such as procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning. Overview of Responsibilities Collaborate with the replenishment team to manage purchase orders, supplier communication, and tracking of deliveries. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Support transportation operations by helping to coordinate the movement of goods between suppliers, warehouses, and customers. Participate in demand planning activities, forecasting, and production scheduling. Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting of key performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance. Work with cross functional teams on various projects and initiatives aimed at improving the company’s supply chain processes and sustainability efforts. Participate in cross functional meetings to understand the end-to-end supply chain process. Help in the development and implementation of supply chain optimization projects. Prepare reports and presentations for management. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program, majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with large data sets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus. Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Self starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
