Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Supply Chain Intern. In this role, you will interface with industry suppliers in requesting and receiving quotations that will support LM proposal efforts. Create Request For Quote (RFQ) in LM procurement system (LMP2P) to all available vendors. This position will also be responsible for all follow-up communication with vendors on drawing or requirements questions and ensure pricing is input in LMP2P correctly. Intern will analyze vendor responses to RFQ to compare to proposal needs and maximize vendor competitions where possible and perform material cost estimating administrative tasks as needed. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of interfacing with industry suppliers in requesting and receiving quotations that will support Lockheed Martin proposal and procurement efforts. Additional responsibilities may include: Conducting supplier proposal evaluations, including application of multiple financial analysis techniques; Bill of Material development and population; Purchase order placement and administration; Project management of key suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery of material for programs that support critical defense efforts. Must be available to be onsite at a Lockheed Martin location two days per week. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a graduation date of 2027 from an accredited college in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations or similar discipline
- Basic Knowledge Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Proficient in data analysis/reporting tools.
- Must be a US citizen

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
