Your responsibilities play a direct role in the overall success of the company. ResponsibilitiesAs a Supply Chain Intern, you will assist the Supply Chain team in the procurement process. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting of material and inventory health, supplier communication, and process improvements of the supply chain process. The Supply Chain Intern is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain team on activities related from purchase orders to goods delivery. To succeed in this role, you need to be data driven, business-oriented, cost conscious, and customer-center. In this role, you will:Run daily and weekly metric reportsAssist in expediting needed materials by working directly with suppliers to eliminate down time due to part shortages.Assist the Finance and Stockroom teams with invoice issues, to recognize discounted payment terms via early payment opportunities and avoid late payments.Assist buyers in PO preparation, maintenance, and supplier management.Analyze and execute open order reports.Identify opportunities to improve the supply chain process and drive projects to completion.Pay Rate: $25.00Qualifications QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Excellent in data analysis and deriving meaningful insights to improve business performance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of supply chain management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), data visualization tools Learning Skills/OutcomesGain valuable hands-on experience in supply chain management, including business exposure to procurement and inventory management.Opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field.Exposure to a wide range of projects and initiatives.AvailabilityFull-time (40 hours per week)Must be available to start April 1, 2025Must be available to work on-site 5 days in our Finelite, CA office.
