We are looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor, who will focus on the blending and shipping areas of the site, to join the Savannah team in the distribution of our Fluid Cracking Catalyst across the world.

This Supervisor is accountable for the safety, quality, productivity, cost, and overall performance of the Savannah site’s Logistics organization. The logistics organization is comprised of all operational functions associated with receiving intermediate materials, catalyst component blending, customer/site transfer shipments for FCC/Additive products, and logistics yard management that supports the blending and shipping of FCC catalyst.

Being accountable for EHSS for Supply Chain at the siteAlways maintaining Responsible Care readinessManaging all aspects of the outside logistics operations for the site, including Intermediate and Outbound operations materials, shipping optimization, invoicing, and various Supply Chain KPIsWorking directly with the Blending Coordinator and Product Management team to improve the product quality process for the siteLeading projects and process improvements within the logistics areasControlling general logistics area costs to meet standardsBeing accountable for the 3rd party operations on the site as they pertain to daily operationsIf you...

 

Have a bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain (preferred) or 5-7 years of experience in a logistics environment (required)Understand Supply Chain and Customer Care principles and conceptsHave experience with SAPAre able to learn, understand, and manage complex plant process flows and equipment to facilitate effective planning and scheduling as well as operational executionAre able to effectively manage the performance and development of personnel through demonstrated coaching and leadership skillsCreate your own chemistry with you@BASF
