The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level or Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our Supply Chain organization in Portland, Oregon. This position is 1st shift with a typical start time between 5AM-6AM. Some off-shift and weekend support required.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting all aspects of the supply chain, from supplier and production performance to production planning and inventory management. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow, cost efficiency, and delivery reliability in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The role is equally in office and in the production shop.

Position Responsibilities:
Analyze Supply Chain Performance: Gather, interpret, and analyze supply chain data to identify operational gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Optimization: Develop and maintain demand forecasts and inventory models to ensure material availability while reducing excess inventory and costs.
Supplier Performance Management: Track and evaluate supplier on-time delivery, quality, and lead times; support corrective actions and supplier development initiatives.
Production Schedule Alignment: Collaborate with production planning and operations teams to ensure material supply aligns with production schedules and delivery targets.
Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks, including supplier capacity issues and material shortages; develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Cost Savings & Efficiency Initiatives: Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency projects through supplier negotiations, process optimization, and lean principles.
Data Reporting & Insights: Develop dashboards, visual reports, and KPIs to provide real-time visibility into supply chain performance for leadership and key stakeholders.
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)/MRP(Material Requirements Planning) System Utilization: Manage supply chain processes using ERP and MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle); support system enhancements and data accuracy initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and resolve issues proactively.
Continuous Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive operational excellence and strengthen supply chain resilience.
Develops and controls inventory plans and optimizes inventory levels.
Analyzes complex material requirements and verifies/incorporates bills of material into production plans.
Ensures on time delivery.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management Analysis or Materials Management Analysis
3+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including on call support as needed (including weekends and holidays)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience in operational data mining and management using tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, Tableau and ODBC
3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
