**Position Summary:** Serves as a clinical resource to members of the supply chain team. Offers clinical perspective and collaborates across all departments and areas of the organization to support SCM initiatives. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned** **:** 1. Serves as a liaison and product subject matter expert in providing Supply Chain support to all MHC departments. Serves as a clinical resource to Supply Chain in validating proposed cross reference items and in identifying substitute products for unavailable items. 2. Participates in developing best demonstrated practice strategies related to product utilization; recognizes existing facility Best Practices; educates departments and/or subsidiaries in implementation of those practices. 3. Supports clinical engagement as needed for capital purchasing scenarios, for new technology or new contract awards. 4. Supports identified sourcing coordinator in opportunities pertaining to clinical products, medical devices, and PPI. This includes strategy development, vendor communication, and implementation support. 5. Participates in Group Purchasing Organization clinical councils, corporate and subsidiary committees, and in vendor interactions as needed, to represent MHC’s current practices and preferences related to products and services. 6. Participates with clinical education collaboration and vendor scheduling for clinical product conversion requiring in-service. **Qualifications:** **_Required:_** + Associate degree in nursing (with active license) or an Associates in an Allied Health profession + 5 years health care hospital-based experience + 1-year procedural experience Operating Room or Cath lab based **_Preferred:_** + Bachelor’s degree Nursing + _7 years hospital experience_ + 3 years procedural experience (OR or Cath lab based preferred) + APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) **Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans**
