Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Supply Chain Management Specialist in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, within the machinery manufacturing industry. As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you will be tasked with managing supplier accounts, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing costs, among other duties.
Responsibilities:
• Administer supplier accounts, ensuring smooth operations and interactions
• Conduct supplier negotiations for the best possible terms and conditions
• Implement strategies for cost optimization in the supply chain
• Collaborate with stakeholders for planning and executing supply chain strategies
• Manage procurement processes, adhering to company policies and industry best practices
• Monitor and manage risk in the supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Maintain regular reporting on supply chain activities and performance
• Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, if required
• Manage finance and pricing aspects in the supply chain
• Coordinate with HR for administration related to supply chain activities
• Maintain interpersonal communication with vendors and suppliers
• Ensure specification adherence in the supply chain processes. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Supply Chain Management
• Experience in Cost Optimization and Optimization strategies
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Proficiency in Management and Leadership
• Proficient in Reporting and Planning
• Knowledge of Compliance and Company Policies
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Knowledge of Finance and Pricing strategies
• Ability to Implement Strategies effectively
• Experience working with Vendors and Suppliers
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Procurement processes
• Ability to work with various Stakeholders
• Experience in Collaboration and team work
• Knowledge of Best Practices in the machinery manufacturing industry
• Ability to write and understand Specifications
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) processes
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Risk Management
• Experience in conducting Due Diligence
