We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the supply chain for our Traction and Mobile e-Power motors factory in Västerås. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team and play a crucial role in shaping strategies and operations that drive efficiency and innovation.Reporting to the Local Product Group Manager, you will be a key member of the local product group’s management team, with a strong focus on supply chain and planning. This position provides a unique opportunity to work across the full value chain, including the management of inbound and outbound material flows, supplier relationships, and logistics optimization.Your responsibilities will include leading the supply chain management team, which consists of category managers and buyers, and overseeing the supplier base with a focus on selection, performance, and development while driving material cost reductions. You will act as the main point of contact for the procurement support team in Estonia and work on improving the logistics setup for inbound materials. Additionally, you will collaborate with the global supply chain management team to optimize the traction supplier base across three sites within PG Traction Motors. Close cooperation with the Quality team will be essential to address supplier quality issues and establish best practices for the supply team in our delivery projects. In this role, you will also represent the local unit in global supply chain management communities, fostering alignment and sharing insights. Qualifications for the role3-5 years of experience in roles related to sourcing, logistics and/or master- and production planning.Demonstrated leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and at least two years’ experience as a manager.Strong analytical skills.Good knowledge of SAP is considered a merit.Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken alikeAbility to motivate and inspire. Leadership experience is valued by us, although your personality will be key to succeed.
