Overview

The Supply Chain Manager role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's supply chain processes. You will collaborate with members of the procurement team, biomed teams, facilities, finance teams, accounts payable teams, as well as clinical operations. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing strategic sourcing, inventory management, supplier relationship management, negotiating, compliance, repair and maintenance, life equipment life cycle, and purchasing/repairing goods and services essential for the company's operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, negotiation prowess, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management.

Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the supply chain department, including procurement, equipment repair, inventory management, and logistics.Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.Lead a team of supply chain specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.Evaluate supplier performance regularly, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.Maintain accurate and timely rebate projection reports while developing vendor volume expectations.Generate and analyze supply chain-related reports to track key performance indicators. Including monthly and quarterly rebate tracking.Support Quarterly Business Review activity, representing AVP. Utilizes ERP system and PowerBi-based dashboards to monitor supplier performance vs. contractual KPI's.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental performance and identify areas of improvement.Prepare reports for senior management to communicate department performance, initiatives, and recommendations.Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and cost savings.Utilize continuous improvement methodology and establishment of policies to ensure timely, accurate, and documented processing of purchase orders, warranty, repair, and service agreements.  Monitors and evaluate vendor performance and retention.Work closely with accounts payable, operations, finance and FP&A on streamlining processes and SOPs.Create, track, monitor Purchase Orders and Repair Orders as needed by the department.Works closely with internal teams on equipment repair and capex requirements.Direct various projects (i.e. new site implementations, internal control formulation and implementation, process improvements, etc.).Implement inventory control processes and systems to minimize waste and reduce inventory holding costs.Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related degree

Experience:

REQUIRED:  Minimum 8 years of progressive supply chain, negotiations and vendor management experience.REQUIRED:  3 years of supervisory experience.Multi-location experienceStrong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and market trends.Familiarity with contract management and legal requirements.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Proficiency in using supply chain software and tools.Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is advantageousPrivate equity experience highly desiredPrevious provider-side healthcare experience highly desiredExperience with Microsoft Great Plains (ERP) and Concur highly desiredIntermediate/Expert Excel skills, and attention to detail Benefits & Perks
