Supply Chain Manager

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager.

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:


The Supply Chain Manager will lead and drive the deployment of SCM strategic initiatives to manage the flow of materials across the value stream into the facility, through the facility and outbound, in a way that maximizes on-time delivery while minimizing inventory and logistics cost. This needs to be accomplished by using standard processes and tools that are prescribed in Operational Assessment, Materials Management Assessment, Eaton Business System, Eaton Electrical Sector Materials Strategy.  All of this work will be performed in and through the ERP system. The Supply Chain Manager will drive root cause and continuous improvement activities as part of daily process and facilitate their team’s organizational development. This is a unique opportunity to lead the effort to build a new operation from the ground up and create the strategy, goals, and priorities for the function.

 

In this role you will:


•    Manage and drive succession planning for plant supply chain team responsible for master production scheduling, production planning, material flow, inventory control, Logistics, material cost out, and KINAXIS.
•    Collaborate with all associated SCM functions and external suppliers, supporting the execution of the network plan and participating in network tier meetings, as well as helping to resolve obstacles in supply plan achievement.
•    Support the internal & external customer relations in collaboration with Network Planning and Order Management.
•    Govern local SCM process & policy adherence as required by Eaton Business System, Operational Assessment, and KINAXIS deployment, including functional assessments.
•    Maintain continuous knowledge of company sales & market trends of products manufactured at the plant to determine current inventory volumes and future materials and inventory needs.
•    Lead the SIOP process for the plant and maintain continuous knowledge of sales, demand, capacity, and inventory to achieve OTD, inventory, and productivity goals.
•    Govern local ERP settings in alignment with Network Planners / Schedulers in a KINAXIS environment, responsibility for local site input into planning process (work centers, labor scheduling).
•    Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key suppliers while supporting and overseeing the procurement of materials, supplier selection, supplier management, negotiations, and days payable. 
•    Plan and manage the preparation and communication of product specifications for bid and manage negotiations with the most favorable prices, quality, delivery time, etc.
•    Plan, recommend, justify, and manage annual operating budgets and financial targets in accordance with known operational needs, strategies, and objectives.
•    Drive continuous improvement in local SCM, including efficiency, local value steam management.
•    Plan and manage training, instruction, and guidance to all subordinate supervisory and other employees to ensure their knowledge of proper equipment and use of accepted work processes and standards.
•    Remain knowledgeable of required personnel-related policies and procedures of the company; monitor and correct employee actions of behavior to ensure adherence with required policies, procedures, systems, and rules.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institutionFive (5) years of supply chain management experienceThree (3) years of experience with manufacturing facilities Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, TX.
