**Overview:**
A dynamic manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced **Supply Chain Manager** to lead and optimize supply chain operations. This role involves strategic planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management to support the delivery of high-quality products across various industries.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and manage a team, including the Material Manager, Stockroom staff, and Buyers/Planners.
+ Oversee procurement of raw materials, sub-assemblies, and consumable materials.
+ Supervise shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficiency.
+ Develop and implement procurement and inventory strategies aligned with sales and operations goals.
+ Build and diversify the supplier portfolio while managing cost savings initiatives.
+ Create dashboards and data sets to enhance procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
+ Facilitate monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
+ Support R&D, prototype, and new product development procurement needs.
+ Resolve supplier invoicing and shipping issues in collaboration with accounting and receiving teams.
+ Monitor and achieve inventory metrics, including accuracy, valuation, and turnover.
+ Collaborate with other departments to establish strategic goals for the supply chain team.
**Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of management experience in planning, production control, warehousing, and materials management within a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
+ Proven problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills.
+ Proficiency in advanced Excel and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; APICS certification is a plus.
**Salary Range**
$100,000-130,000
