The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the planning, production, and capacity management of the company's goods. This role is responsible for managing the Planning (Production Control) Department, Purchasing, and Shipping & Receiving departments.
Responsibilities
+ Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
+ Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.
+ Maintain the material data Master of Supplies and materials to optimize production.
+ Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
+ Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes.
+ Generate capacity management reports and monitor execution to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
+ Coordinate engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.
+ Conduct Internal Supply management reviews for monthly SIOP meetings.
+ Hire and train departmental employees.
+ Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
+ Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
+ Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
+ Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
+ Work in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules and report any unsafe work conditions accordingly.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (relevant work experience considered in lieu of degree)
+ Five (5) years’ experience in a supply chain leadership role in a manufacturing/process environment
+ Aerospace industry experience (a plus)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Strong interpersonal, negotiation, supervisory, and leadership skills
+ Proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and customers
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Proficiency in ERP usage, SAP preferred

Work Environment
The work environment is an aerospace manufacturing setting in an older building with traditional processes. The facility specializes in providing high-quality, lightweight structural core materials to various markets including aerospace, marine, construction, rail, and industrial. The role involves standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing and will have three department managers as direct reports, with a multitude of other positions under each of those departments.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
