Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager. In this role, you'll be instrumental in overseeing the supply chain processes within our organization, working closely with various departments to align supply chain strategies with business objectives. Responsibilities: • Implement best practices for inventory management and lean manufacturing to optimize operational efficiency • Identify and source new suppliers, focusing on quality, pricing, and availability • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers for capital projects • Collaborate with the Manufacturing and Maintenance departments • Liaise with Accounting for invoice reconciliation and addressing A/P issues • Monitor and manage inventory levels through daily and year-end inventory assessments • Coordinate with freight companies to resolve issues and negotiate pricing and delivery terms • Utilize the ERP platform to track inventory and manage supply chain processes • Support the implementation process of orders and deadlines for capital projects • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with business objectives • Use various computer applications, including Excel, Word, web-based ordering, Outlook, and Microsoft Dynamics for different duties Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in KPI Reporting. • Extensive knowledge in Logistics. • Significant experience in Manufacturing. • Proven experience in Procurement. • Demonstrated skills in Purchasing Materials. • Familiarity with Purchasing Procurement. • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). • Expertise in Supply Chain Management.
