**Who You Are**
As a member of the Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain, you will impact major complex procurements of different contract types and will have continued interaction with Lockheed Martin program management and LM SCM Upper Leadership\. You’ll need to operate autonomously and have the business acumen for interaction with the strategic supplier leadership chains\.
In addition, You’ll be looked upon to help guide and mentor other members of the team with their continued learning and training\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
In this fast\-paced role, you’ll play a critical part in developing and executing contractual relationships with our suppliers\. Every day will be unique as you tackle shortages, developmental issues, and resolve complex supplier performance issues\. You’ll have a lasting impact on our bottom line, by controlling costs through negotiation and ensuring on\-time delivery\. You’ll serve as consult to management and provide guidance on team objectives\.
Furthermore you will lead activities that include but not limited to: preparing requests for proposals, evaluating subcontractor proposals related to development, production and/or sustainment, developing cost/price analysis, negotiating complex internal customer and supplier requirements, purchase order and contract creation/documentation, purchase order maintenance, managing contractual delivery schedules to align with program demands, conducting cost analysis support, contract closeout, understanding procurement activity under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations \(FARs\) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations \(DFARS\), and communicate across multi\-functions and multi\-level platforms\.
Responsibilities include:
\- Participating in Cross Functional Engagements with Production Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management and Engineering
\- Maintaining and reporting RFP status, tracking of monies, execute team and supplier communications and effectively share information across a dispersed team\.
\- Utilizing tools to generate reports and support management needs\.
\- Drafts supplier communications, follow up for closure and ease administrative burden to the buying team\.
\- Assists with program indoctrination, on boarding and bringing new team members up to speed and being effective contributors to the larger team\.
\- Maintains a close relationship to the team and consistently brings improvement suggestions to the forefront\.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access; will require US Citizenship and an Interim Secret Clearance to be considered\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Experience in project management; leading cross\-functional teams and/or PM leading Subcontract Program Management teams
• Experience in one of the following:
\- Purchasing/Subcontract Management
\- Program Management
• An Active Secret or an Interim Secret Security Clearance is needed at start date
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience developing, implementing and/or managing Supply Chain Strategy
• Experience in team building and leading through influence
• Experience implementing or managing Supply Chain Risk Management requirements
• Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations \(FAR\) and Department of Defense \(DoD\) programs
• Experience translating material to various supplier, internal, and USG audiences
• Experience working in classified environments
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
