Supply Chain Mgmt Analyst IV
**POSITION SUMMARY** The Supply Chain Analyst Senior is responsible for the execution of complex supply chain management project activities, process improvement initiatives, and for performing responsibilities in a manner consistent with the overall Supply Chain materials management strategy. Manage specific supply chain special projects for suppliers and product/process areas as assigned. Responsible for driving results and improving initiatives throughout the supply chain. Also responsible for ensuring that all Supply Chain projects are integrated within the organizational structure and Supply Chain industry standards. This position may also perform the following duties: + Assist team members with complex supply chain projects, based on advanced project management experience. + Perform multiple supply chain projects that will work collaboratively across the Supply Chain organization to identify and recommend ways to streamline “end-to-end” process activities in a way that will increase customer value and reduce/eliminate non-value added activities. + Review and provide recommended changes to current supply chain operations to document product, service, and information flow using project management tools. + Analyze data and apply appropriate project management methodology to develop recommendations for process improvements. + Suggest technological upgrades/automation of existing processes and systems, and support the implementation of the recommendations. + Participate in the development of training plans for revised practices, processes, and new systems. + Ensure that work conforms to high technical and company standards and meets or exceeds all contract requirements. + Build and develop relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the supply chain strategies support the overall Amentum goals while meeting customer contractual requirements. + Present and communicate data to all levels of management. **QUALIFICATIONS** + Minimum four years of demonstrated performance in technical competencies of procurement, engineering, finance, operations, quality, and/or project management. + Demonstrated advanced experience in project management, materials management, operations management, warehousing management systems experience a plus. + Appropriate technical certification (CQM, CPM, CPIM, PMP) preferred. + Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment. **OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES** + Knowledge of supply chain management process flows from requirement to fulfillment. + Ability to develop and present solutions that add value to the customer (external or internal). + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent presentation, creation, and performance skills. + Ability to analyze and work problems, be poised with all levels of management and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including proficiency in Excel and Access or other database and reporting tools. + Ability to identify, design, and develop analytical and reporting tools. + Ability to influence decisions with teams without direct management responsibility. + Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) Supplement and other supplements as appropriate. + Proven leadership, organizational and planning skills in order to prioritize and balance multiple projects. **EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s degree in business administration, materials management, supply-chain management, or other related field preferred. High school or equivalent experience. Note candidate who has successfully completed a vocational program for the subject trade discipline will be given preference. **WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS** Work performed in normal work environment.
