Supply Chain Operations - Professional
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented individual in the field of Supply Chain Operations. In this hybrid role, you will play a key role in updating and maintaining the Supplier Code of Conduct, ensuring that our suppliers meet our high ethical standards and sustainability goals. Responsibilities: • Lead the refresh of the Supplier Code of Conduct by developing a comprehensive project plan, defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources required. • Collaborate with internal teams such as legal, communications, compliance, procurement, and supply chain to gather inputs and align on requirements. • Conduct a thorough review of the existing Supplier Code of Conduct to identify areas for improvement. • Research industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure the updated Code meets or exceeds current expectations. • Draft and refine updated Code provisions ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness. • Develop and execute a rollout plan for the updated Code of Conduct. • Create training materials and conduct training sessions for internal teams and suppliers. • Develop communication strategies to ensure effective dissemination of the updated Code to all relevant parties. • Prepare regular project status reports and present findings to management. • Address any issues or challenges that arise during implementation and adjust strategies as needed. • Partner with Global Impact Integration Lead Sourcing to develop, plan, and execute projects aligned to Sourcing's Global Impact Integration strategy. Requirements • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex supply chain concepts effectively. • Proficiency in creating detailed reports to inform decision-making processes. • Experience in training teams and individuals in supply chain operations and processes. • Strong planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Knowledge of compliance requirements within the supply chain industry. • Research skills to continually improve supply chain processes and methodologies. • Ability to plan and manage supply chain processes effectively. • Experience in reviewing and improving existing supply chain strategies. • Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering on time and within budget. • Understanding of the phrase 'About Time' in the context of supply chain management. • Proven track record of successful implementation of supply chain strategies. • Experience in procurement processes and strategies. • Knowledge of best practices within the supply chain industry. • Ability to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels. • Knowledge of provisions within the supply chain industry. • Proven ability to execute supply chain strategies effectively. • Understanding and application of best practices within the supply chain industry. • Experience in managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products. • Knowledge of compliance functions within the supply chain industry. • Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in diverse teams. • Experience in supply chain logistics with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Ability to ensure the deliverability of all supply chain tasks and projects. • Experience in sourcing strategies within the supply chain industry. • Knowledge of R Code and its application in supply chain operations.
