We are offering a long-term contract opportunity for a Supply Chain Operations - Detail Oriented individual. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in updating our Supplier Code of Conduct and ensuring that our suppliers adhere to our high ethical standards. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of supply chain practices and ethical compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for updating the Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate with internal teams including legal, communications, compliance, procurement, and supply chain to gather input and align on requirements.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the updated Code reflects our enterprise goals and objectives, as well as industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Conduct a thorough review of the existing Supplier Code of Conduct, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring the updated Code meets or exceeds current expectations.
• Draft and refine the updated Code provisions for clarity and comprehensibility.
• Develop and execute a rollout plan for the updated Code of Conduct, including the creation of training materials and conducting training sessions for internal teams and suppliers.
• Develop communication strategies to effectively disseminate the updated Code to all relevant parties.
• Prepare regular project status reports, addressing any issues or challenges that arise during implementation and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Manage project budget, track progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Work in partnership with Global Impact Integration Lead Sourcing to develop, plan, and execute projects aligned to Sourcing's Global Impact Integration strategy.
Requirements • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex supply chain concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in reporting, able to compile and present data in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience in training team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Strong planning skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated understanding of compliance functions within the supply chain.
• Ability to conduct thorough research and utilize findings to optimize supply chain processes.
• Experience in planning processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
• Proven ability in reviewing and improving supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in project management, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
• Familiarity with the concept 'About Time' in relation to supply chain management.
• Expertise in implementing new strategies and processes within the supply chain.
• Proven experience in procurement, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
• Knowledge of standard practices within the supply chain industry.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively.
• Experience in provisions and ensuring supply chain standards are met.
• Ability to execute strategic plans within the supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of best practices in supply chain management.
• Experience in liaising with suppliers, fostering strong and productive relationships.
• Proficiency in supply chain management, with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Ability to manage deliverables within specified timelines.
• Experience in sourcing goods and services in a cost-effective manner.
• Proficiency in R Code, able to utilize this tool for effective supply chain management.
