The Supply Chain Optimization Systems Lead will be a key driver in optimizing our supply chain systems and processes, acting as the subject matter expert (SME) and ensuring integration and operational excellence across all supply chain functions. The Supply Chain Optimization Systems Lead will play a critical role in maximizing the value of our technology tools, driving continuous improvements, and fostering collaboration across teams. The role will serve as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in manufacturing, planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

Major Responsibilities:

Act as a dedicated SAP Superuser, leveraging in-depth knowledge to fill short-term operational gaps in areas like plant planning, shipping, and procurement during employee transitions, ensuring seamless continuity of operations and business efficiency.Act as the key point of contact between supply chain business users and technical teams, ensuring system integration and the implementation of effective solutions that support business needs.Serve as the go-to SME for the supply chain systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.Conduct training to new and existing users, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to operate SAP. Provide clear, comprehensive instruction on SAP processes, ensuring smooth onboarding and empowering employees to excel in their roles post-training.Develop, maintain, and update system documentation, process maps, and user guides, ensuring clear and consistent communication across teams.Lead the continuous improvement of supply chain workflows and system configurations, identifying opportunities to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment processes.Provide technical support and resolve system-related issues, proactively addressing bottlenecks and escalations to minimize operational disruptions.Monitor system performance and usage, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management on system efficiency and areas for improvement.Lead the SAP integration for newly acquired businesses, ensuring smooth data migration, process alignment, and system configuration.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience as SAP key user role for supply chain management.Proficiency in SAP, including hands-on experience with MRP modules within SAP and Material Master.Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics, and distribution.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage insights to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall performance.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with supply chain system configuration, customization, and reporting tools.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.Knowledge of change management practices for system upgrades and process changes.Proficient in MS Office suite of programs, primarily ExcelProject management experience or certifications.Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
