Overview The Supply Chain Packaging and Store Systems Manager will be responsible for achieving, improving, and exceeding targeted customer service levels within the authorized service suppliers and Franchisee System. This role will coordinate, organize, and oversee all store services contracted for company stores while also contract and manage the logistics contracts for all company-managed freight. Maintain strong working relationships and communications with logistics and services suppliers, Franchisees, Corporate Stores, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of the correct goods and services to support Smoothie King operations. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while fostering a culture of long-term savings in procurement and logistics, without compromising quality or supply assurance. Manage packaging suppliers to ensure the highest quality at the best possible price. Provide daily support on procurement and logistics systems, policies, and processes for business units and corporate staff involved in purchasing. Plan and coordinate the domestic supply chain to support current U.S. operations and expansion into new regions through effective supplier management. Lead aggressive implementation plans and schedules, integrating sourcing solutions. Apply critical thinking to resolve high-impact, complex, and cross-functional challenges. Proactively report product or services availability issues. Ensure accurate documentation and contract management for all products and services, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a key contact for field teams and internal departments, addressing questions, directing requests, and supporting department projects. Oversee the national launch of products or services, ensuring Franchisee awareness, inventory levels, and launch date compliance. Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and growth. Maximize store profitability by monitoring suppliers closely to identify and prevent profit leaks. Complete special projects and assignments as requested. Responsibilities Exceptional interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building partnerships with internal and external partners, at all levels within the organization. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects accurately and efficiently. Strong sense of urgency and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude. Advanced communication skills including oral, written, and presentation abilities. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Maintains composure while working with a sense of urgency. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, adapt to changing priorities, and manage competing demands. Solid understanding of food and beverage distribution processes. Promote the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King. Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. 5+ years’ experience with supply chain / purchasing with relevant food and beverage experience. Advanced analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Intermediate to Advanced competency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.) Experience supporting multiple individuals at multiple levels required.
