The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for securing materials used in Zebra’s operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from regional distribution centers, product life-cycle, quality and special customer requirements and/or projects. The team cooperates with are Global Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk and Customer Experience Management teams.
The Supply Chain Planner II has a key role in the team. Beside standard materials planning responsibilities, the person is expected to participate in continuous improvement activities of materials management processes and project management work.
Responsibilities:
Support and actively participate in deployment of supply chain model within regionPlan and develop supply schedule to keep sufficient inventory positions to support material requirements of internal or external customersRegularly review and adjust demand plan with internal stakeholdersApplies Zebra’s procedures to resolve issues and mitigate constraints impacting supply plan including capacity, transportation, and order-management errorsMonitor open purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries; partner with Order Management to resolve any admin/order error(s)Escalate shortages within the broader supply chain organization and work to support resolutionDevelop and maintain strong working relationships and communications with key cross functional stakeholders to confirm production/shipping schedulesPerform ad-hoc analysis as neededParticipate in cross-functional projects as a representative of the supply chain function
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree requiredBusiness, Supply Chain, Finance or related field preferred2-5 years of experienceInternational Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plusAbility to organize and prioritize workStrong analytical and problem-solving skillStrong interpersonal and communication skillsOracle knowledge a plusProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
