Supply Chain Planner
Supply Chain Planner + Shift: Monday - Friday, 2pm-10pm + Direct Placement Job Description Forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products. Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize storage costs and meet production schedules. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers. Assess supplier performance to ensure contractual compliance and resolve any issues. Implement new systems and processes to improve supply chain efficiency. Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to integrate supply chain management with companywide strategies. Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to find bottlenecks and other issues. Evaluate and report on KPIs and metrics. Hard Skills + Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) + Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry + Proficient in supply chain management software and tools Soft Skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Demonstrable capability in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
