Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, 55110, United States. The role is primarily focused on managing product orders and inventory based on sales forecasts and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in Supply or Demand planning and be familiar with MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Edward Jones. Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret sales forecasts to determine product order quantities. • Effectively manage warehouse inventory based on product demand and sales forecasts. • Regularly interact with customers and adapt to changing needs or order modifications. • Use MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Edward Jones, etc.) to efficiently manage product orders and inventory. • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service. • Stay updated with manufacturing trends and incorporate them into planning strategies. • Utilize CRM and ERP solutions to streamline supply chain processes. • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain and logistics. • Use knowledge of 3M and About Time to enhance supply chain efficiency. • Adapt quickly to changes in the industry and modify planning strategies accordingly. Requirements • Proficiency in software such as 3M, CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and ERP Solutions is required. • Familiarity with About Time software is essential. • Excellent customer service skills are a must. • Ability to perform KPI reporting effectively. • Comprehensive understanding of logistics and manufacturing processes. • Experience with MRP - Material Requirements Planning, MRP System, and MRP Inventory is necessary. • Knowledge of Oracle system is beneficial. • Proficiency with SAP is crucial. • Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne software is desirable.
