We are seeking a professional like you to join our Geismar Polyol team and manage and lead supply chain planning for Polyol packaged finished goods.  The role will be responsible for managing adequate inventories and handling of off-spec material and will require communication with operations and product management teams.

Managing all aspects of production planning to support targets and achieve desired customer service levels while working closely with Operations, Product Management, Procurement and others supply chain planners to successfully ensure supply chain integrity, integration, and bottom-line results.Managing and implementing replenishment packaging inventories for PMO.Managing inventory performance by reading inventory reports, and performing cycle counts, monthly closing and annual physical inventory to determine accuracy and ensuring that inventory levels stay on track with target, as well as managing dysfunctional inventory (HOI) in conjunction with Operations and Product Management.Providing SAP Material Master support and set up.Displaying awareness that Safety and Environmental responsibility is a major part of BASF’s Vision and Guiding Principle and following all policies and procedures as applicable.Being responsible for acting as the primary backup for the Geismar Polyol Raw Material Planner and provide other functions as a part of the PMO Team.If you...

 

Possess a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field or commensurate with overall 3 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, or related field would be preferred.Have APICS Certified (preferred)Possess understanding of planning processes, including MRP, and Sales and Operations PlanningAre able to demonstrate your exceptional collaborative, interpersonal skills, ability to work across multiple locations, functions successfully and your excellent organizational skillsCreate your own chemistry with you@BASF
