Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner in the manufacturing industry, located in Lansing, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of our supply chain, utilizing a range of software and systems to ensure efficient and effective operations. Responsibilities: • Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for managing and planning the supply chain effectively. • Operate IBM AS/400 system for various supply chain management tasks. • Employ Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for data analysis, report generation, and presentation of supply chain-related information. • Ensure timely deliveries and proper documentation in all aspects of the supply chain. • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing and resolving any supply chain-related inquiries or issues. • Monitor and manage customs processes as part of the supply chain. • Use the 'About Time' software for efficient time and supply chain management. • Process and maintain accurate customer credit applications and records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
