WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Analyze and develop inventory plans as well as maintain the master data for direct materials that drive the ERP system.Working knowledge of transportation and order lead times, warehouse capacity and any associated constraints.Responsible for daily monitoring of direct material inventory levels, creation of purchase orders when needed and adjustment of current purchase orders.Have knowledge of vendor lead times, capacity and any constraints associated with each direct material group. The planner is responsible for maintaining the associated master data for all direct materials assigned.Responsible for making decisions concerning the material delivery plan and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.Analyze direct material inventory availability issues, develop, and evaluate solutions and communicate the most effective resolution to all stakeholders.The planner should be knowledgeable of brand planning projects and impact to planning responsibilities. These may include end of life cycle projects to minimize write offs; stay informed of upcoming events such as new brand launches and promotional programs to ensure effective execution of company initiatives.Ability to manage the daily activities of the Lead Logistics Partners in support of service and cost goals.Able to understand and support the order to cash process as related to warehousing and distribution.Required to participate on project teams as well as continuous improvement initiatives and able to demonstrate basic supply chain analysis.CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
Do you have previous end to end supply chain or logistics experience?Are you comfortable working and communicating with vendors?ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years relevant progressive work experience; or Associate Degree in Logistics, Technical, Business, or related field and 6+ years relevant progressive work experience; or Bachelor of Science in Logistics, Technical, Business, or related field and 5+ years. Previous supply chain and/or manufacturing experience.Ability to make sound and timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills.Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong functional knowledge of computers and information systems.Self-motivated, energetic, flexible, and adaptable to change.BENEFICIAL
