Role purpose
Drive balanced supply–demand plans at the agreed service levels and provide visibility to enable business optimized decision making throughout the assigned supply chains.Ambassador of Planning processes and systems throughout the planning community.Leads, manages and monitors workflow activities for MEX & Central America markets regarding: NPI (New Product Introduction) / Sourcing strategies / Formulation changes.Drive Supply Planning process improvements in the whole Territory connected to Regional and Global Planning organizations.Responsibilities
Develops production & supply plans for Crop Protection business in MEX & Central America markets, keeping inventory levels within defined parameters, minimizing WO, lost sales and excess inventories. Considers lead times, process capacities and production costs to optimize cost/benefit ratios.Defines Sourcing strategies for MEX & Central America markets with an end-to-end scope looking for a cost-effective supply chain considering business strategies (Flexibility, Responsiveness, Cost efficient, etc). Promotes challenging discussions with regional planning regarding production campaigns to assure an efficient replenishment cycle.Builds inventory policies. Takes inventory management actions to achieve targets. Works in collaboration with commercial/assets managers in safety stock definitions and drives the Planning Processes to higher maturity levels, fostering the use of company systems and Supply Chain best practices.Anticipates supply constraints and analyzes reallocations opportunities in regional and global markets assuring compliance processes regarding customs policies, triangulation through Hub´s, legal and transport regulations for each destination.Ensure that all planning processes throughout the integrated supply chain operate against SAP/APO principles, and ensure plans are reflected in our different ERP systems, providing visibility of the supply plans to the wider organizationSponsor Master Data accuracy.Company Description

It is indispensable for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Science, Engineering or related field.3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the agricultural or chemical industry.Financial skills related to supply chain processes.Knowledge on supply chain planning and production processes.Knowledge of crop protection products and agricultural markets is a plus.Good Knowledge of manufacturing processes.Advanced verbal and written English skills.Proficiency in supply chain planning skills, system knowledge of SAP and APO systems (mandatory)Ability to influence and gain support along the supply chain and related stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Cross-functional knowledge with emphasis on familiarity with Sales and Marketing (e.g. new product introductions, life-cycle management)
