Supply Chain Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to align production planning with demand forecasts and company objectives Oversee procurement activities, ensuring raw materials and packaging are available to meet production schedules Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies Manage inventory levels, reducing waste and maintaining optimal stock to meet customer demand Coordinate warehouse operations to ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and material handling Analyze supply chain performance metrics and develop solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service Lead cross-functional meetings to communicate supply chain strategies and ensure alignment across departments

 

Qualifications

BS / BA is required 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, supply planning, scheduling within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including scheduling, supply analysis, and inventory control Proficiency in using ERP systems with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis Problem-solving skills with a focus on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive cross-functional supply chain team
