Procurement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering data, analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations which support Procurement & Logistics (PL) department activities. You will develop and communicate periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tInvestigates problems, finds root causes and recommends improvement to existing and planned PL processes. Internal data collection, reporting and analysis including spend data, supplier KPIs, specification rationalization, contract compliance tracking etc.•\tSupports project teams with assigned analyses, contributes to discussions of strategic options and recommendations. •\tManage the Commodity Market Intelligence reporting process and support in development of ABB commodity app by managing the entire data sources which goes as an input to this app.•\tCustomized dashboard implementation involving various data sources like SAP, SCMIS, Datawarehouse, Excel etc. Maintenance of dashboard and ensure data accuracy at all times.•\tSupports the Supplier Risk Process: Work closely with teams and coordinate with suppliers & data gathering around business continuity plans.

Qualifications for the role

\tFull time engineering degree with at least 6-9 years of experience in a SCM or purchasing related function.\tExcellent Knowledge of Microsoft packages: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email. Power BI, Strong programming skills, VBAs, Azure, SharePoint.\tStrong organizational skills, confident, and clear communication skills.\tGood knowledge on direct spends categories
