Summary:
· The SCP Production Analyst will use the Supply Chain Management System with other tools to analyze and determine what product needs to be manufactured at which facility to ensure balanced sets while satisfying the needs of customer demand, promotions, and market fluctuations.
· This position works under strict deadlines to create new production orders and substitute items on existing production orders as needed to meet demands. After the orders have been reviewed, the Production Analyst will communicate with Production & Inventory Control and/or Manufacturing Operations Management to lay down the manufacturing schedule.
· The SCP Production Analyst is accountable for meeting goals and objectives to maintain the company’s growth rate, maximize inventory, and maintain high in-stock percentage rates
Primary Job Functions
1. Generates, reviews, and analyzes the inventory reports and the production planning schedules. Determines what items and quantities require manufacturing to ensure balanced inventory levels and desired customer satisfaction rates. Makes decisions and solve problems to optimize inventory based on cost and service level.
2. Identifies severe inventory conditions that will adversely affect customer satisfaction and communicates to management; makes recommendations for solutions.
3. Ensures adequate component availability, transferring when appropriate, to meet the production schedule.
4. Reviews and evaluates the reliability of the supply chain flow to ensure product availability; provide feedback and recommendations to management.
5. Collaborates with Manufacturing Operations Management and P & IC to balance production and inventory levels according to customer demand and capacity availability; makes recommendations for capacity adjustments as needed to avoid constraints.
6. Initiates, builds, and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external customers, especially those that may impact the Supply Chain Scheduling function and effectiveness.
7. Charts, analyzes and interprets key process measures.
8. Assists in developing, monitoring and maintaining standard operating procedures.
9. Demonstrates the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
Job Qualifications
Education: • Associate Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience, Required
Experience: • 2 years’ experience in office, manufacturing planning, or inventory environment, Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to learn Supply Chain Systems

• Excellent verbal, written, and assertive communication skills
