Who You Are

As part of the Global Procurement & Subcontract team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics you'll fulfil the role of a Subcontract Program Manager

What You Will Be Doing

You'll be leading the identification of potential risks, development of comprehensive mitigation plans, and executing those plans to minimize potential risks for multiple suppliers and metallic built-to-print commodities.

You'll make decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establish milestone objectives and manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications; all while leading collaborative initiatives with engineers, procurement and quality teams.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Supply Chain Management

• Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Project Management or Program Management experience

• Microsoft Office applications
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of subcontract management principles, practices, and procedures

• Experience in managing metallic built-to-print commodities

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute project plans to minimize potential risks, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables

• Experience utilizing continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies and implementing effective solutions

• Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, presenting to executive leadership, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
