Supply Chain Program Manager
**Title:** Supply Chain Program Manager **Location:** United States-Illinois-Wood Dale **Job Number:** 16876 **SUMMARY** The Supply Chain Program Manager will be the face of a large revenue generating program. This role will involve interacting with the customer, working closely with AAR’s warehouse to manage shipments for the program, managing a team, and reviewing program financials and KPIs, ensuring those goals are met. The role will be focused on meeting contractual commitments and enhancing supply chain and operational efficiency for the program. This position is accountable for customer interfacing, generating revenue, managing quality escapes, and managing a team to ensure all objectives and KPIs are met. They will assist the procurement and strategic sourcing teams in managing spend and following up with vendors, working directly with our warehouse, and enforcing quality standards within the supply base. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Interfacing and being the main Point of Contact (POC) with customer and ensuring we exceed customer expectations. + Identifying new revenue streams and establishing methods to capture that revenue. + Analyze materials spend and revenue and actual/forecasted material demand to forecast future spend and identifying and mitigating program risks. + Managing a team of analysts and being the main POC with our warehouse focusing on maintaining and improving shipment velocity. + Interface with strategic sourcing and analytics teams to optimize vendor spend and drive timely delivery of results. + Project leader of multiple productivity projects, working with cross-functional teams and using six sigma tools/methodology and appropriate business tools. + Completing customer quality notifications to ensure AAR is meeting customer quality standards. + Responsible for monitoring status and facilitating multiple active Supply Chain projects, eliminating road blocks and driving results to meet project implementation dates. + While managing a team of analysts provide leadership of on-site and off-site personnel; prioritize workloads, delegate tasks and activities. + Create and conduct presentations for new projects and processes, put together financial updates. + Create and manage shipments and exports for the program. + All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** + Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Five years’ program management experience + Experience in the aerospace/aviation industry on the Boeing 737NG product line is preferred. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. MS Access experience is a plus. + Must have the ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). + Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools, lean manufacturing a plus + Needs to be able to interface with customers and feel comfortable in a revenue generating environment + Strong presentation skills **PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT** + The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The team works in-office 3 days per week, and remote 2 days per week. **COMPENSATION:** The anticipated salary range for this position is $82,418 to $90,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus.
