Serve as a senior consultant to assist US Army clients solve and improve their existing training, operations and readiness efforts related to supply chain management operations. Individual will support supply chain improvement projects across the following areas: Strategic Movements, Joint and interagency Operations, Supply Chain Strategy, Supply / Demand Planning, Procurement, Supplier Performance, Logistics / Inventory, Supply Contracts, operations, readiness and training.
Executing project plans, schedule meetings, preparing presentations and supporting client meetings
Provide presentations to and fulfill requests for information from General Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) Executives
Operate independently to consolidate information from multiple sources to provide input to strategic-level products
Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Army strategic and operational level logistics and Department of the Army acquisition processes
Apply analytical decision-making processes to propose changes in supply chain policies, procedures, and business processes.
Work with functional and technical stakeholders to implement process improvement in supply chain operations and business systems.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelors Degree
EIGHT (8) or more years with relevant logistics, operational, or business experience.
Experience and knowledge of process analysis, mapping, and optimization;
Experience in performing data analytics, particularly in areas that optimize supply chains.
Demonstrate experience with common issues facing supply chain management and operations with clients who provide products and services (e.g., aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer and retail, energy, industrial products, technology or utilities) on a daily basis.
Ability to communicate effectively at multiples levels within an organization.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Operational experience as an Army Logistician (90A) in the grade of O-4 or higher or Warrant Officer in the grade of CW-3 or higher
Experience with strategic and/or operational level Army staffs; joint staff experience is a plus
Knowledge of the Army Materiel Command enterprise and subordinate commands
Experience analyzing data sets, with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Familiarity in supply chain or logistics within the Department of Defense (DoD) (Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps).
Assisting clients with the implementation and support of Data based solutions and improving business processes.
Performing as a team member: creating a positive environment and managing workload while meeting client expectations.
Experience delivery of exceptional client service
Degree Preferred: Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Level 3 DAU Acquisition Certification.
An ideal candidate would be experienced with Supply Chain transformation, live in the Huntsville area, possess a clearance and a CAC, have above-average writing, editing, and Microsoft Excel skills.
