Supply Chain Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesPerform various supply management duties that typically involve substantial financial commitments, technical complexities, or high priority. Ensure compliance with the company's established quality standards and business requirements and promote customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite You will be mainly accountable for:•\tConducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures this includes - Supporting manufacturing schedules by executing all aspects of materials planning, ordering, scheduling, expediting and scheduling transportation and delivery of respective materials/commodities, managing stock transfers by checking orders/availability and coordinating with suppliers and recommends production rescheduling when required.•\tResponsible for the facility’s inventory management objectives through effective management of raw, WIP, buffer, and bulk inventories for respective materials/commodities, performs root cause analysis of cycle counting activities/results to ensure facility inventory accuracy issues are resolved and serves in a plant scheduling capacity by creating production schedules or participating in production work center scheduling activities.•\tIdentifies and negotiates direct and indirect cost savings opportunities and coordinates with responsible functions to achieve savings results while overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolves performance issues.•\tServes in a buyer capacity by managing the outsourcing process to include supplier selection, RFQ’s, bid evaluation, supplier development and problem resolution in turn, ensuring continuous improvement by creating effective documentation of the processes related to all aspects of materials planning, plant scheduling and warehouse operations.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s OR Associate's Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 4 years experiencePreferred Experience Includes: \t2+ years experience in Supply Chain Management dealing with various manufacturing disciplines, sales offices, suppliers, and customers.\tMicrosoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, SalesForce, PowerBI \tCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
