Supply Chain Specialist - Procurement
Job Description Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist – Procurement to support their Fleet operations. Reporting to the Global Fleet Procurement Manager, this role focuses on developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee procurement activities, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices. Identify, onboard, and negotiate with local and regional vendors. Manage supplier quotes, RFQs, and procurement documentation in the ERP system. Collaborate with the Logistics Team to ensure timely deliveries. Monitor supplier performance and drive cost-saving initiatives. Address and resolve non-conforming products and services. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain, preferably in the Offshore, Oil Service, or Marine industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office (Excel, Power BI), and contract management. Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork abilities.
