Who You Are
The Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is seeking a Subcontract Management Staff, Level 3
Every day will be unique as you tackle shortages and resolve supplier performance issues. In this role, you will make a difference to our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiation and ensuring on-time delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
The selected candidate will be a part of the Advanced Development Program (Skunkworks) Procurement team for major systems.
As the Subcontract Administrator Senior, you will be responsible for developing subcontract specifications, reviewing work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of major systems, complex parts and services for subcontracts in support of development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Your responsibilities will include:
• Prepares bid packages for procurements
• Conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals
• Negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends general contractors and subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts
• Negotiates terms and conditions and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
• Performs analysis of previous/current contracts, pricing, and trends to ensure reasonable prices and suggests changes as necessary.
• Resolves vendor disputes, contract / invoicing discrepancies, and performance issues.
• May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Some travel and on-site presence may be required as necessary.
