Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
Providence is calling a Supply Chain Technician who will:
Be responsible for typical supply chain operations and logistics functions including but not limited to: receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed Be responsible for working with customers within their specific ministry ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience at the local ministry/site for all caregivers they serve Support daily supply chain operations and logistics functions at acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long term care facilities and warehouse operations for their respective ministry Regularly required to push, pull, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25-50 poundsPlease note the following important details regarding this role:
This role is an in-hospital position and will report into the hospital daily as scheduled Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Work Shift: 7:00am -3:30pm Weekend Availability Requirement: Availability to work every third Sunday between 8am - 11am Sunday shift requirement is defined by hiring manager and departmental needsProvidence welcomes applicants to apply that live within a daily commutable distance of our hospital location listed below:
