Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
Providence is calling a Supply Chain Technician who will:
Be responsible for typical supply chain operations and logistics functions including but not limited to receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed Be responsible for working with customers within their specific ministry ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience at the local ministry/site for all caregivers they serve Support daily supply chain operations and logistics functions at acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long term care facilities and warehouse operations for their respective ministry Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25-50 poundsPlease note the following important details regarding this role:
This is an onsite role and will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled Work Schedule Includes both: Weekends and Weekdays Ability to work the following shifts: 6:00 am - 2:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, 10:00pm - 6:30amProvidence welcomes residents to apply that live within a commutable distance (15-20 miles) of our hospital location listed below:
