Supply Chain Technician 2766036 A leading medical institution is seeking a Supply Chain Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventorying, tracking arrivals, and reconciling supply needs in the department and other designated locations where assigned. The ideal candidate has one or more years of inventory management, materials handling, and restocking experience. Supply Chain Technician Pay and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $28/hr * Worksite: A leading medical institution (San Francisco, CA 94143 - Onsite, This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all Medical Center locations) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment Supply Chain Technician Responsibilities: * Serve as a floor ambassador for a designated nursing unit. This entails scanning and putting away requisite supplies, maintaining and altering PAR Levels to meet clinical demand, and any other ad hoc requests the unit may require. * Transport various forms of clinical equipment and supplies from central supply to the nursing units, clinics, and other sites as needed. * Clean various forms of patient equipment such as pumps, channels, and modules. * Serve as a dispatcher at the Material Services front desk. This requires in-depth product knowledge, good customer service skills, and a minimal clinical knowledge of the various supply sets used throughout the Medical Center. * Analyze inventory to optimize stocking locations, product turns, vendor locations, and procurement schedules. Supply Chain Technician Qualifications: * 1+ years of inventory management, materials handling, and restocking experience. * A bachelor's degree in supply chain management is preferred. * Experience in healthcare or hospital environments is preferred. * Excellent customer service skills. * Ability to use email and minimal word processing skills and to self-motivate. * Ability to learn quickly, adhere to specific protocols, and work in a fast-paced and physical environment. * Working knowledge of various computer systems, Microsoft Office., and the ability to adapt and comprehend new computer systems. Supply Chain Technician Shift: * Monday to Friday, Weekends. * Rotating hours by week, 06:00 am - 02:30 pm, 02:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
