This position will serve as a supply clerk responsible for receipt, issue, storage, shipment, inventory, return of materials and supplies, and with guidance from supervisor, prepares and maintains supporting files for supply transactions and audit trail. What you can expect from APTIM: + Work that is worthy of your time and talent + Respect and flexibility to live a full life at work and at home + Dogged determination to deliver for our clients and communities + A voice in making our company better + Investment into your personal and professional development **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** + Prepares and maintains document register and supporting files for material requests, issues, shipments, and returns. + Assigns, counts, sorts, and weighs incoming deliveries to verify receipt of items on requisition/storage document and upon delivery/receipt interfaces with transporting agency to correct formal discrepant shipments. + Executes issues tools and for materials from on-hand stock based on customer requests and reorders/restocks materials to maintain a predetermined current on-hand balance. + Participates in inventory actions required to maintain integrity of overall inventory needs. + Adheres to warehouse storage procedures in stocking and locating material to insure overall accountability, neatness, conformity, and efficiency. + Manages return to vendor materials to include processing of related documentation. + Compiles reports and maintains files on use of stock. + Make adjustments for spoilage or damage to stock, location additions or deletions and refusal of shipments. + Maintains stock's location system for stock to include creating, correcting, and updating bin location tabs. + Executes a variety of warehousing duties that may or may not be covered in these duties and responsibilities but are within normal warehousing duties and responsibilities. + May be required to work out-of-class as a hazardous material waste specialist to perform the following duties: + Receive, inspect, store, transport, and arrange for final disposition of hazardous materials. + Provides required support for recycle program + Use a computer for tasks such as communicating by email and preparing reports and work schedules using Microsoft 365 software. + Review and analyze data and information concerning warehouse supply + Plan, prioritize and monitor warehouse activities. + Tools and equipment within his or her possession. + Using PPE when required. + Daily cleaning of assigned workspaces. **Basic Qualifications:** + Minimum years of experience acceptable for role: 1-3 Years + Valid State Driver's License + Meet requirements for: pre-employment HAZWOPER physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy) + Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). + Forklift and flatbed licenses/certification must be obtained/achieved with the first 90 days of employment, training and certification will be provided by the company. + Ability to work shifts of at least 8hours, and occasionally longer, 5 days per week. + Ability to stand for prolonged periods. + Ability to sit for prolonged periods. + Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. + Ability to work in cold/hot/dusty/loud environment. + Ability to work in office environment. + Ability to receive and understand direction from supervision and management. **Who we are and what we do:** APTIM is a global industry leader headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
