Supply Depot Operations - Fleet Supervisor
**Amentum** is seeking a **Supply Depot Operations – Fleet Supervisor** to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Fleet Operations Supervisor will report to the Supply Depot Operations Superintendent and will serve as the principal technical advisor on all functions relating to assigned vehicle fleet, providing the supervision of Amentum Supply Depot Operations drivers and vehicles, to include proper licensing and environmental permitting for the transport of HWAD munitions/ordinances. **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.** ​ **Essential Responsibilities:** + Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees. + Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations. + Responsible for the supervision of transportation personnel operating all transportation equipment and the handling of any HWAD munitions/ordinance. + Follow specific direction of the Supply Depot Operations Ammunition Superintendent and SDO Manager. + Interface with necessary organizations to coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities. + Provide on the job training when the workload permits. + Ensure that high levels of housekeeping are always maintained in work area and vehicles. + May be responsible for performing interviews. + Counsel assigned personnel on company policies, procedures, performance and personnel issues. + Responsible for performance evaluations. + Enforce standards and expectations for transportation personnel. + Ensure all records associated with the transport of munitions/hazardous materials are produced and maintained in a timely, accurate, and legible manner. + Ensure all vehicle inspections are performed IAW all procedures and applicable regulations. + Maintain all necessary maintenance records for transportation vehicles. + Assess and monitor employee fitness-for-duty. Interpret policy and recommend hiring/discipline/discharge. + Coordinate munitions transportation and HWAD support activities within HWAD footprint. + Must also be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of government security clearance as well as a clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and be favorably vetted through the NCIC III System. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). + Make work assignments, monitor work performance and perform other administrative duties as necessary to ensure safe and compliant operations of the facility. + Maintains high ethical standards, overall values of the business, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct to include cooperating during Company investigations; treat all individuals fairly and with respect. Reports potential or known safety or environmental hazards to the appropriate dept. or personnel. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must be 18 years or older and High school diploma/equivalent. + Must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory or lead experience. + Must be a US Citizen or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain HWAD site access. + Must be willing and able to be trained to operate forklift/fork truck or material handling lifting devices. + Must be willing to work overtime, varying hours and/or rotating shifts. + Must be willing and able to be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record. + Must be willing and able to work in a procedurally compliant environment. + Must be willing and able to work in an environmental and safety compliant environment. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State driver’s license. + Must be detailed oriented and can solve complex problems and understand the impact of decisions upon the operation on the facility. + Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize projects, adapting to changes as they occur. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Ability to speak publicly and communicate clearly during normal and crisis situations. + Ability to read and comprehend explicit operating procedures and processes. + Conduct oneself with responsibility, integrity, accountability, and adhere to employee conduct expectations. + Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any HWAD drill, contingency and/or emergency requirement + Ability to speak publicly and communicate clearly during normal and crisis situations. + Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-orientated work. + Demonstrated willingness to be a team player. + Takes initiatives to meet or exceed performance expectations. + Must be able to obtain and maintain required training in accordance with Amentum’s Master Training Plan. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State of Nevada driver's license unless physically unqualified to obtain such a license + Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment. **Safety Sensitive** This position is designated as non-safety sensitive position and is subject to the requirements of the HWAD Medical Surveillance Plan and Matrix and the HWAD A&D Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by the Hawthorne Army Depot Commander and HWAD O&M contract requirements. **Other Responsibilities:** Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
