Materials Management Role:

This role will have responsibility for improving and maintaining on-time shipment performance and compliance for inbound or outbound materials from suppliers supporting manufacturing operations in Monterrey, MX. The role will involve acting as liaison between Material Planners, 3PL staff and the Trade & Compliance team and will provide an escalation level to support management of suppliers and resolution of supply issues.

 

Logistics Optimization Role:

The role will have responsibility for driving and supporting continuous improvement in logistics optimization:

Process efficiency at NA supply hub. Standard freight optimization. Premium freight cost management.

This role will involve significant coordination with local manufacturing logistics teams, 3PLs (at a consolidation facility), carriers, and freight forwarders.

Role & Responsibility

Inbound/Outbound materials logistics management:

Review and communicate NA Suppliers’ compliance and performance metrics. Review and coordinate supplier OTS improvement plans. Coordination with material planning and/or NA suppliers to help ensure material availability for manufacturing locations, as needed. Work with manufacturing locations, 3PL Staff and/or NA Suppliers to resolve any incoming material that is overage/shortage/defect, or on quality hold.

NA Logistics Optimization:

Identify and implement process efficiency /accuracy improvement opportunities. Identify and support logistics optimization improvement initiatives. Management of premium freight (method, service level). Job Requirement Bilingual; English and Spanish fluency required. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in supply chain management, logistics management, operations management, or other relevant field preferred. 5+ combined years of supply chain planning or international logistics planning. Experience managing logistics and warehousing budgets. Travel Required: up to 25% Good understanding of international and domestic logistics. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent cross-collaboration skills. Experience working with teams across different cultures. Project managing projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-starter, ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal or no on-site supervision. 3PL and/or supplier management experience.
